COUNTY FAIR QUEEN
2024 Dallas County Fair Queen Contest
Any young woman between ages 16-21 who resides in Dallas County is eligible to apply and participate. Each contestant must be an active member of at least one service organization in her community, such as a church group, Girl Scouts, 4-H, FFA, etc. Eligibility is not limited to 4-H or FFA Memberships
2024 Queen ApplicationApplications are due before 4:00pm on Friday May 24, 2024
Judging will be based on the following:
Personality, Attitude, Appearance and Awareness
Leadership and Citizenship - Contribution to Community
Overall Appearance, Charm, Poise
Please make sure to reserve the following dates on your calendar for required queen canidate activities at the Dallas County Extension Office and Dallas County Fairgrounds:
Sunday, June 2, 3:00-5:00 p.m.- Contestant Preparation Meeting & Workshop
Sunday, June 23, 3:00-5:00 p.m.- Contestant Workshop & Rehearsal
Saturday, June 29, time TBA- Fair Queen Judging
Tuesday-Friday, July 9-12 - Contestant Appearances at County Fair
Friday, July 12, 3:30 p.m.- Fair Queen Crowning
